The scent of the insert will last approximately one season (90 days), depending on use and household conditions. In smaller compartments, the inserts will last longer than they will if used in larger areas. What if I want more or less fragrance intensity? You can choose the number of inserts you use in a storage device. The number of pockets in the device are chosen to deliver the fragrance intensity preferred by most consumers, however if you like a more fragrant closet you can use more inserts (at the bottom of the organizer, for example) and if you like a less fragrant closet you can use fewer inserts (inserts in half the pockets, for example). What types of odors will the insert remove? The Febreze insert will remove most odors including body odor, pet odor, and mold and mildew trapped in fabrics. How many different storage devices are available? At this time, there are 12 storage devices available. Six of them hang from closet rods and over doors, and six sit freestanding on shelves or floors. Is the insert safe to use around babies and children? Is it toxic if ingested?
